Instructions on how to “white-list” Ticket@springfieldgeeks.com

Here’s how to whitelist an email in common email providers:

Gmail:

  • Go to Gmail’s settings (gear icon) and select “See all settings”.
  • Navigate to “Filters and blocked addresses”.
  • Click “Create a new filter”.
  • Enter the email address (ticket@springfieldgeeks.com) or domain (springfieldgeeks.com) in the “From” field.
  • Check the box that says “Never send to spam”.
  • Click “Create filter”. 

Outlook (Desktop):

  • Click the “Home” tab, then “Junk” in the “Delete” group.
  • Select “Junk E-mail Options”.
  • Go to the “Safe Senders” tab.
  • Click “Add” and enter the email address (ticket@springfieldgeeks.com).
  • Click “OK” and “Save”. 

Outlook (Web):

  • Go to your Outlook settings (gear icon).
  • Select “Mail” and then “Junk email”.
  • Under “Junk email,” scroll down to “Senders” and click “Safe senders and domains”.
  • Click “+ Add safe sender”.
  • Enter the email address (ticket@springfieldgeeks.com) and click “OK,” then “Save”. 

Outlook (Mobile):

  • Open the email you want to whitelist.
  • Tap the three dots in the top right corner.
  • Tap “Move to Focused Inbox”.
  • In the popup box, tap the radius button for “Move this and all future messages” then tap “MOVE TO FOLDER”. 

Important Notes:

  • You can whitelist a specific email address or an entire domain. 
  • Whitelisting ensures emails from those sources will arrive in your inbox and won’t be marked as spam. 
  • If you receive a lot of emails from a domain, it’s best to whitelist the domain rather than individual email addresses.
